Support For Next Generation Telemecanique Crane Drive

(JULY 2011)

NDC were recently asked to repair and overhaul a faulty 37kW Telemecanique Altivar ATV71 inverter drive by a large UK-based tower crane operator. The drive was associated with the main hoist motor drive on a SAEZ flat top crane.

NDC were selected for this job on the basis of our track record in successfully completing repairs to the ATV58 and ATV66 series of tower crane drives. NDC’s dedicated Research and Development Team have now finalised the capture of circuits, I/O, parts, schematics, set up and test data enabling the production of robust and comprehensive Test – Diagnose – Repair – Test Procedures for this ‘next generation’ Telemecanique drive. The completion of this project means that NDC can now effect the repair of these drives within the same time frames as the ATV58/66 series, and to the same exacting engineering standards.

NDC can also support drive repairs for tower crane operators based in mainland Europe, simply call +44(0)800137104 to discuss our package of service and support for the crane industry.
